Cultivation support

(On-Site and On-Distance)

In order to benefit optimally from cultivation support, we have designed a combination of remote (online) and on-site guidance. Through online cultivation support, clients have access to expertise between on-site visits, allowing them to make decisions more proactively and at the right time. The support covers all cultivation-related aspects of a leafy greens facility, including water management, fertigation, filtration, climate management, genetics, and other key operational factors.

The process begins with an initial introduction visit, during which the consultant visits the facility and performs a first assessment of the current situation. During this visit, the grower or facility owner receives direct, practical support to start addressing possible cultivation or operational challenges from day one. After each visit, a professional written report is prepared and shared with the client. This report summarizes the observations made during the visit and outlines the recommended actions and optimizations that should be implemented either immediately or over time.

Our approach is based on a clear timeline, structured plan of approach, and strategic guidance. This enables the grower or facility manager to identify challenges and better understand their causes. At the same time, the process helps educate the local team so that when similar situations arise in the future, they are able to recognize the issue and move more confidently toward the right solution.

Following the initial visit, a reassessment of the facility’s situation is conducted. If the grower or facility manager is satisfied with the support provided, Agranom proceeds with proposing a long-term collaboration. This long-term support focuses on fine-tuning the cultivation strategy, investigating potential cultivation or operational facility investments, and providing continuous remote guidance. Remote support can be delivered through platforms such as Microsoft Teams or via remote access to the climate computer, allowing Agranom to support the local team when needed and ensure timely responses to cultivation challenges.

Before a long-term agreement is finalized, Agranom provides a clear timeline and strategically developed plan of approach based on the findings from the initial assessment. This plan includes specific deliverables and milestones during the contract period, ensuring that the investor, grower, or facility manager knows exactly what to expect and when.

Agranom currently supports multiple growers and facilities around the world, including projects located at significant distances such as Australia, Canada, and Singapore.

Tailor-made project management

(From A to Z)

At Agranom, we have developed a structured seven-step approach designed to guide projects from the initial idea through to successful operation. This method ensures that each phase of the project is carefully planned and supported, providing clear direction and reducing uncertainties throughout the process.

Our involvement begins with step one: supporting the initial concept development, where the foundations of the project are defined together with the project developer or investor. From there, we continue guiding the project through the subsequent stages of development, planning, and implementation. The process concludes with step seven, where we provide direct support with cultivation and daily operational management at the completed facility.

This structured approach has proven to minimize project risks while providing clarity and confidence for both the project developer or investor and the local operational team responsible for running the facility.

Assessment & recommendations for yield and operational improvements

(Based on crop plan, equipment & technologies)

With this service, we support existing facilities in improving their equipment and overall greenhouse set-up to achieve better production results during cultivation or in post-harvest operations.

We guide clients in selecting the most suitable equipment, connecting them with trusted, industry-leading suppliers, and comparing quotations to ensure smart and strategic investment decisions.

As part of this service, we also restructure the facility’s crop plan and develop optimized lighting strategies together with our specialized partners, investigate water management decisions such as proper filtration, disinfection and oxygenation. In addition, we design fertigation plans and recommend any further technical or operational improvements that our consultant identifies as essential for increasing facility output and product quality.

All recommendations are based on detailed performance calculations carried out by our consultant, who estimate the desired production output and determine the equipment and investment required to achieve these results.

Training & workshops

(On critical cultivation, technical & market related aspects)

At Agranom, we offer a unique combination of theoretical training and practical workshops conducted in real-time at commercial (CEA) facilities. Our programs are designed for first-time investors entering the CEA industry, experienced leafy greens growers looking to expand their expertise, and product suppliers seeking hands-on knowledge in cultivation practices, technology integration, and market dynamics.

Through our training programs, participants gain the practical skills and strategic insights needed to succeed in this rapidly evolving industry.
